Daily Study for Youth


Day 1: Faith & Healing

  • Bible Passage: Matthew 8:1-27
  • Life Question: Can I ask Jesus to help me or someone I love?
  • Biblical Truth: We can have faith that Jesus cares about and will help us and those we love.
  • Key Verse: Hebrews 4:16
  • Lesson Aim: To lead students to acknowledge they can have faith in Jesus to help them and to identify situations about which they need to express their faith in Him.

Day 2: Forgiveness & Love

  • Bible Passage: Luke 7:36-50
  • Life Question: How can I show my love for Jesus?
  • Biblical Truth: When Jesus forgives us, we can take actions that show our love for Him.
  • Key Verses: 1 John 4:19
  • Lesson Aim: To lead students to declare that Jesus has forgiven them and to describe how they can show their love for Him.

Day 3: Belief & Salvation

  • Bible Passages: John 3:1-18; 19:38-42
  • Life Question: What do I need to do to become a Christian?
  • Key Verse: John 3:16
  • Lesson Aim: To lead students to decide to trust in Jesus and to discover answers to excuses people give for not becoming Christians.

Day 4: Everyday & Eternal

  • Bible Passage: John 4:1-42
  • Life Question: How can I help others become Christians?
  • Biblical Truth: We can find opportunities to connect with others and talk to them about Jesus.
  • Key Verse: Matthew 28:19-20
  • Lesson Aim: To lead students to recognize opportunities they have to talk with others about Jesus and to maximize the moment.

Day 5: Life & Obedience

  • Bible Passages: Acts 1–2
  • Life Question: How do I live out my life in Christ?
  • Biblical Truth: We obey Jesus’ instructions by living out our Christianity through our words and actions.
  • Key Verses: 1 Corinthians 16:13-14
  • Lesson Aim: To lead students to itemize ways to live out their Christianity and to evaluate the extent to which they do so.
