“And I, if I, be lifted up, will draw all people unto myself” - John 12:32. It is these words of Jesus that propel the life and ministry of Grant Harbin. A musician who seeks, first and foremost, to lift the Savior up and bring glory to the Father, Grant believes worship to be an integral part of every believer’s life. This desire to see people encounter God through genuine worship has developed into the passion that is so evident when Grant is on stage.
Although originally from Decatur, Alabama, Grant has led worship all over the nation and has committed his life to traveling and making Christ known through music. Anyone who is personally acquainted with Grant knows that he is consistent and genuine; that the words he sings from stage are truly a reflection of the faith that guides his life. Grant is a firm believer that the Holy Spirit is central to what he does as a worship leader, and that sentiment flows into his everyday life. While Grant is absolutely passionate about the artistry of what he does, he is even more focused on the Truth behind the music. By claiming scripture as his foundation, Grant hopes to point all that he comes in contact with to the hope and redemption that is found at the cross.
Grant has led worship alongside names such as Tony Merida, Chad Poe, and Tony Nolan. He has worked with FUGE Camps in Birmingham, AL and Mobile, AL for the past two summers, where he has led thousands of students and adults to encounter the Living God through music. Next summer, the Lord has opened the door for Grant to continue his ministry in Mobile, where he will be joining FUGE once again. During the year, he travels and plays at all types of events including Disciple Now retreats, worship nights, and conferences. Grant is continually seeking new ways to challenge this generation of believers to heed God’s call to worship and, as a result, find Him more beautiful than ever before.
