Melodie White grew up near Clemson, South Carolina, in a small town called Six Mile. She graduated from Daniel High school in June 2010 and is currently a senior at Anderson University. She is studying in the field of music with a focus on composition. She has become involved in several ministries on campus throughout her time in college including Campus Worship and the university’s traveling worship team known as Mosaic. She, along with Mosaic, led worship for the West Palm Beach M-Fuge camp last summer. This coming year will be her third year serving with Mosaic. Before coming to college, she was heavily involved in her home church leading for the youth group as well as the Sunday morning praise team, and she is still frequently leading on Sundays as her workload permits. After graduating, Melodie plans to attend graduate school to further her study of music composition to later pursue a career in that field. She would like to continue to pursue worship leadership wherever God takes her in life, whether that is a longtime career in a church, or temporary terms during the summer. She is fully expecting that God will do great things that only He can do through the interests and talents with which He has blessed her.
