Chad Keck has a passion for communicating God’s Word and mobilizing people for missions and ministry. FUGE has been a very important part of Chad’s life since he first experienced it as a seventh grader in 1988. In addition to the six summers he spent as a camper, Chad has also been a part of FUGE as a recreation staffer, a Bible Study Leader, and as a church leader bringing groups from his church. He has been married for 12 years to the beautiful Candace Keck (also a former FUGE staffer). Chad and Candace are blessed with two children ages 8 and 5. He has served on church staff (including as a youth pastor) in Tennessee, Texas and Florida prior to being called to his current role as Senior Pastor of First Baptist Church of Kettering, OH. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Oklahoma Baptist University and in 2009 he earned a Doctorate of Educational Ministry from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Chad enjoys spending time with his family, missions (especially in Africa), reading, watching Tennessee Volunteer athletics, and eating at Subway!
